I love the color it is now, because it it full of demition and looks natural but I wanted to give you a few pics of my hair before.
My natural hair
My blonde days :s
I had a full head of highlights
Then when i was older, i wanted a change so yes i went for black!
And now my hair is a mix of what is left from when i has it black, my natural color and the natural blonde part i have always had, and because my hair was blonde and then black, my ends have a very light redish tint to them that I really like.
I have really changed and played with my hair over the years and have done some very foolish things to it (sun in anyone?!?) but I dont regret it it was just somthing i had to do and get it out of my system.
How have you abused your hair over the years? LOL
I don't think I ever abused my hair lol, but over the years it went from being really curly, thick and healthy to just....blah. All because of a hairdresser that pretty much burnt my hair when I was about 14...and then a few years ago I struggled with an eating disorder and it just got weaker... :( I had to cut really short and right now I'm trying to make it grow as healthy as possible!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you look stunning in that black dress! :)
xxx
Your natural hair is lovely! Don't mess with it.. I used to dye my long hair a lot a few years ago until it was all damaged.. I cut it real short to get rid of that not-so-soft hair.. And now thanks to some great natural products like olive Oil, Blackseed Oil, Castor Oil & Lush's R&B Hair moisturizer.. But hair is super long and healthy =D
ReplyDeleteaww thank you hun:)....i did have a bit of an eating disprder and it did make my hair naff too:( i so feel for you about the hairdresser! they can not b trusted! lol xx
ReplyDeleteNOticed in first picture you had tighter curls, and now your curls are might bigger, did you use something specific that made your hair have looser curls?
ReplyDeleteno i think coloring ur hair does loosen the curls:(
ReplyDeleteI think curly hair is really sensitive to anything you do with it...it needs constant care and nourishment! Unfortunately I know my hair won't go back to what it used to be, but now I'm very careful with what products I use and do my best to protect it!
ReplyDeleteaww, your natural hair is looovely and the black looks gorgeous too! don't really like the look of the blonde, looks quite unnatural but you have gorgeous curly hair, so envious!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved reading your hair history =) Thanks for sharing! Definitely liking your current look - it really does suit you!
ReplyDeleteaww thank you hun:)
ReplyDeletewhen i was young my mom didn't know how to style my curly hair so it would look horrible and poofy but before middle school i got a what i think is called japanese straightening when i visited the philippines and it was long,pin-straight, and shiny. After a year i got another permanent straightening done but it was a disaster! It made my hair even more damaged and the ends were dry, crunchy, dead, and poofy so i had to straighten it everyday! That was 200 dollars going down the drain!Last summer i grew out my natural hair but when highschool started, the top half of my hair was curly and the bottom was the rest of the permanent straightened hair so when i put mousse it looked like a dried up forest. I got a lot of comments on how weird it looked but my hair grew a little so i finally got to cut it and now my hair is super curly and i love it!A lot of people comment on how i'm the only or one of the few asian girls they know with curly hair :)I'd have to say i like curly hair more than straight hair plus curly hair matches my face.haha sorry for this really long comment:)love your hair and you're really pretty too!
ReplyDeleteI think the photos of you with black hair (vavavoom in that dress) and the bottom pouty picture are so sexy...you look gorgeous and as I've said before on your vlog...with straight hair you can see your pretty face. Are you petite? You look like you are and when your hair is curly it seems to over take your frame if you know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteI love many tones of high and low tones reds, but can you you tell me what did you use when you went black that your hair looks so, so shiny?
ReplyDeleteI didn't really use anything I think black hair is always shiny because it's so dark, plus in that photo it had been blow-dried by my hairdresser, so that always helps.
ReplyDeleteI have never come across someone with exactly the same hair type as me on the internet but you are the first! I've been following your videos for absolutely ages now and love them- you've given me so so many tips and not only inspired me to start blogging, but I now feel much more confident wearing my hair curly! Thank you so much :) xxx
